Copy Cats Inc. Website

A Much Needed Change
I was very excited when my design position at Copy Cats Inc, moved from designing solely for our print products to designing for our new website. I initially worked on things like making product images, styling pages like our About Page and Resources page all while making small changes to CSS to give the site a more custom feel. I started designing images for products faster than they could be fully built, so rather than let me fly on ahead, It was decided that I should learn the process of building the products too.

Learning as We Go
At first this just meant I how to add options into a product, like folding options, paper options, etc. But then I got into creating options and actually creating pricing and formulas. Now, I was never a math person, but after all that I can safely say I am a formulas and excel kind of person. Since I started working on the website, I have filled more than 6 sketchbooks with notes, lines of code, equations, formulas, print jargon and so many more checklists than necessary. It has all culminated into the new Copy Cats Inc. website and many other private storefronts for our customers.
